HEALTH SUITE RENOVATION Expands Care and Convenience


N


ewly designed spaces at Landis Homes are helping create a more connected, convenient


experience for residents while equipping providers to serve with greater effectiveness. Te project brings Residential Living Health Services together in one welcoming location, making it easier to access a broad range of care without traveling across campus.


Te redesigned suite now includes primary care through Lancaster General Health Physicians Geriatrics, lab services, outpatient therapy from Symbria, and behavioral health by Samaritan Counseling Center; along with space for visiting audiology, podiatry, and dermatology providers. Instead of navigating multiple locations, residents can now find essential services in one place.


Te Physician’s Suite has been expanded with a third exam room and improved workspace for providers, nurses, and office staff—supporting efficiency, collaboration, and thoughtful care.

Dr. Dale Hursh, MD, is glad to see this, saying, “these are definite enhancements for resident care.”


An additional 1,000 square feet has been created for Symbria Outpatient Terapy, including a dedicated therapy gym for physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Rehab Program Manager Kristin Weire shares, “We can offer more specialized treatments in a setting designed to support progress, while making it easier for residents to access everything in one location.”


For residents, this means simpler appointments, more coordinated services, and greater peace of mind. For providers, it means spaces designed to enhance workflow and compassionate service.


“Tis project reflects our commitment to caring for the whole person,” said Rebekah Johnsen, Director of Residential Living. “It supports both connection and quality.”
