What is the average class size?

This will vary according to the course. Lectures are larger groups of up to 100 students, and seminars are usually no bigger than 20-25 students. These numbers reduce significantly for courses where lab work is required.

How accessible are teachers

outside of class? Apart from face-to-face contact during classes and seminars, you can book one-to-one tutorials with teachers without difficulty. However, be aware that in the UK students are expected to do a significant amount of independent studies.
