What type of accommodation is available?

There are seven types of housing to choose from: BU halls of residence, Student Village, Unilets, privately- provided halls of residence, accessible accommodation, accommodation for families and couples and short- term accommodation. It will help you understand the booking process if you check our accommodation information web page.

Is student housing guaranteed

for four years? Student housing is only available during the first year. For the remaining period of your studies you are expected to find private accommodation. You can rent by yourself or share with other students.

Would I have a roommate or live alone?

During the first year, students will have a private bedroom with en-suite and will share kitchen and living spaces with other students. There are between 4-6 bedrooms in each flat.

How are flatmates selected?

The accommodation booking process consists of 2 stages: In stage 1 students will register and create a profile, which will give a little bit of information about themselves. In stage 2, students will be able to pick flats and read the profile of other students who have chosen the same flat.
