How much will it cost?


• The international tuition fee for all undergraduate courses (majors) at BU is currently £13,500 per year. This excludes any other expenses, such as housing, subsistence, transportation, etc

• Student housing will cost anything between £92 and £150 per week, depending on the choice you make.

• If you apply for a US Federal Loan, BU will send you a letter to send with your Tier 4 student visa application. You will not need to provide any other financial documents with your visa application. We have a webpage explaining the process of applying for your US Federal loan on the BU website. If you are not applying for a US Federal loan, you will need to meet the UKVI requirements for maintenance.

What financial aid options are offered?


There are a variety of financial aid options available, such as: • US Federal Loans • Veteran Affairs (VA) Educational Funding • Sallie Mae Student Loans • £2,500 BU Academic Excellence Scholarships • £500 - £5,000 BU Sports Scholarships


• £1,150 (major award) or £450 (minor award) BU Music Scholarships.

When is the scholarship


application deadline? There is no deadline for the BU Academic Excellence Scholarship. The deadline for the BU Sports Scholarships and BU Music Scholarships is the end of August.
