Guild membership gives you more than just a great insurance package. Here are six ways in which you can use your Guild membership to demonstrate to your clients that you are a “Genuine Beauty” Professional that they can trust:
1. DOWNLOAD & DISPLAY THE
GUILD LOGO Use the Guild logo to advertise you are a member of the UK’s professional beauty industry trade body. You can download the artwork by logging into your account on
Beautyguild.com. Use the logo on your website, social media pages, and business stationery.
2. USE YOUR DESIGNATED MEMBERSHIP
INITIALS AFTER YOUR NAME As a member of the Guild, you can use the letters of the branch you belong to after your name. These are:
MGBT – Member of the Guild of Beauty Therapists MGHT – Member of the Guild of Holistic Therapists MGNT – Member of the Guild of Nail Technicians MGTL – Member of the Guild of Therapy Lecturers
Use the letters after your name when advertising your services on your website, social media and business cards.
3. ORDER GUILD BADGES &
WINDOW STICKERS Order a membership badge to wear on your uniform and a window sticker to display in your salon. Call our membership team on 01332 224830 to order.
4. JOIN THE PROFESSIONAL REGISTERS There is a Professional Register for each branch of Guild Membership. Join the Professional Register for your branch by logging into your account on
Beautyguild.com. An entry in the Professional register is free to all current Guild members and is worth £34.80 per year.
5. SHOW YOUR SUPPORT
