Jones joins Boat with more than 20 years of insurance industry experience, including 14 years at the Zurich Insurance Group. Kerr has 10 years of catastrophe risk experience in the London market. During this time, he has worked in a number of roles, including head of exposure management positions for various Lloyds syndicates.


Citi has announced the appointment of Peadar MacCanna and Murat Demirel as co-heads for its treasury and trade solutions business in EMEA. Both will report to Ebru Pakcan, EMEA head of TTS, and John Ahearn, global trade head for TTS.


MacCanna and Demirel will have joint ownership and responsibility of the trade business for the region. MacCanna joined Citi in 1997 and held a number of roles in funds accounting and securities services before he joined Trade in 2003 to run the Insurance LOC business and establish the Citibank Europe platform.


Most recently, Peadar was EMEA head of trade finance based in Dublin, as well as head of trade business for Europe and Citibank Europe. Demirel rejoins Citi from Oger Telecom Limited where he was chief financial officer since 2013, based in Istanbul. Prior to this, he served at Citi as head of corporate finance for CEE and Turkey.


Ravi Angadi (pictured above) has been chosen as the new chief products and strategy officer at Promethean. He joins Promethean from Agilysys, a leader in hospitality enterprise SAAS software, where he has held the position of vice


Michele Shepard and Greg Watson have joined Fenergo as chief revenue officer and managing director of sales, respectively. Before joining Fenergo, Shepard was SVP of sales and marketing and chief revenue officer for Vertafore.


Prior to this, Shepard held various management and executive-level positions during a 12-year tenure at Gartner. Watson joined the firm from HSBC, where he spent seven years in a variety of roles, most recently as a managing director.


“Having spent the past decade in enterprise sales, I look forward to developing strong relationships with our customers and partners, and delivering Fenergo’s innovative set of solutions to address these market challenges,” said Shepherd.


Watson added: “I am delighted to have joined a world-class company like Fenergo, which is rapidly becoming the core ecosystem provider for client onboarding and due diligence across the banking landscape.”


Mikhail Brovman (pictured above) has joined Standard Chartered as Global Head of Technology and Financial Markets. Brovman arrives from CLS, where he was a product management consultant. Prior to that, he was CTO of Project Edison, a joint investment by Credit Suisse for new trading platforms.


He was also global head and CTO of CDSClear. In his new role, Brovman will be responsible for the entire technology value chain for financial markets at the bank.
