created position of managing director and head of platform engineering. Prior to this, he had been head of software development lifecycle at Two Sigma, the technology-driven institutional investor, a position Kicillof had held since 2015. The new Axioma hire also spent eight years at Microsoft, where he held a “number” of engineering positions, including principal program manager.

He is also co-founder of innovation ecosystem company FinTechStage, member of the advisory board of financial services company Payoneer, and senior advisor to management consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. Leckie brings more than 20 years’ senior level experience to the business.
Previous roles include CTO of FinTech provider HotDocs Corporation, where he was responsible for product strategy across the group. Prior to that he served as CTO and VP of support services for Axios Systems PLC, and VP of operations for Nasdaq-quoted FutureLink.
Fabrizio Zanollo has been appointed director of strategic partnerships at TransferMate. Zanollo comes to TransferMate with more than 15 years of experience across technology and financial services at such companies as Inpay, Paysafe and HSBC. Most recently, he served as head of strategic partnerships in EMEA for Intuit, producers of TurboTax and Quickbooks. Zanollo’s appointment to the TransferMate team will see him add to the existing TransferMate strategic partner network.

Turi has worked in a variety of industries, including renewable energy, utilities, retail banking, telecoms and water services, and has considerable UK and overseas experience. Paul Horlock has been appointed as CEO of a new payment system operator, yet to be announced in the UK. Horlock, who has worked in the banking sector for more than 15 years, took up his role at the start of the month. “I am thrilled to be asked to take up the role of CEO for the new payments system operator,” he said.

Glance Technologies has named fintech influencer Spiros Magaris (pictured below) as the new member of its advisory board. Magaris, who is well-known for his tours on the speakers’ circuit, is ranked as the top global fintech influencer by Onalytica. “The team has proven that it knows how to execute its strategy successfully in Canada and I am convinced they can do the same in the US,” he said, following the appointment.
