Members in the News David Greenwell, CPA, the lead tax partner at RSM US, LLP in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a 100% VIP company, was quoted about the commercial real
estate industry in the February 2018 issue of Square Feet, a supplement to Te Journal Record. Greenwell, a member for 38 years, has served on several committees, including the OSCPA Small Firm Practitioners, Taxation and Public Relations Committees. He currently serves on the OSCPA Business Valuation/Forensic & Litigation Support and the Oil & Gas Committees. Greenwell is the 1992 OSCPA Public Service Award recipient and the Oklahoma City Chapter’s 2011 Distinguished C.P.A. Award recipient. Greenwell is also a Ward 5 Oklahoma City councilman.
Sylvia Duncan,
CPA, received the Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the Wilton T. Anderson Accounting Hall
of Fame at Oklahoma State University. Duncan is a sole practitioner in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and she has previously served on several OSCPA committees and held multiple leadership roles with the OSCPA North Central Chapter. She is also a two- time Distinguished C.P.A. award winner for the North Central Chapter and has been a member for 59 years. Duncan is also an OSCPA Accounting Hall of Fame inductee and the first female chairman of the board.

Dr. John Uzzo, CPA,
CGMA, was recently named a Fellow of the Global Academy of Finance and Management. In addition, Dr. Uzzo has
the following certifications: Certified in Financial Forensics, Certified Information Technology Professional, Certified in Risk and Information Systems, Forensic Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Specialist. Dr. Uzzo has been an OSCPA member for 42 years. He was also selected as a founding partner in the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation and is a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. Dr. Uzzo formerly served on the Liaisons with Educational Institutions Committee and currently serves on the Business Valuation/Forensic & Litigation Support Committee.
