Clapham’s award-winning Broomwood celebrates after triumphant year


Broomwood, Clapham, is looking ahead to an exciting new academic year following a triumphant 12 months marked by record-breaking scholarship success, prestigious awards and continued investment in its provision for local families


At the heart of Broomwood’s achievements has been an exceptional set


of senior school results.


Broomwood pupils secured a record- breaking 49 scholarships to some of the UK’s leading schools, with awards spanning academia, sport, music, drama and art. Nearly half rewarded academic excellence,

impressive range of London day and boarding schools, including Alleyn’s, Jags, Whitgift and Brighton College. However, Broomwood’s approach is about far more than results alone. Broomwood Girls, added: “We’re committed to ensuring every child is known, encouraged and challenged to achieve their very best, and it’s wonderful to see our pupils recognised in this way as they move on to the next stage of their educational journey.” Tis has also been a significant year


for external recognition. Broomwood was named Best Independent Preparatory School in London in the Private Education Awards 2026, retaining


the title for a second


consecutive year. Te school was also included in the Talk Education Top 250 list, which recognises leading independent schools across the UK. Broomwood was also nominated in five categories in the Education Choices Awards.
