Trinity School, Croydon, is an inde- pendent day school for boys with a co-educational sixth form. At its heart lies an ethos of leading through values. T e community, built on gener-
osity and kindness, ensures every student is known and cared for as an individual. In this nurturing environ- ment, the school works with students to deliver great outcomes through a culture of strong values. T is, in turn, opens doors to the world’s best universities, colleges and careers.
Opportunities for enrichment Students achieve some of the best academic results in the country, having also been encouraged to take up the wealth of opportuni- ties off ered outside the classroom — from more than 100 vibrant clubs and societies to a wide range of other academic enrichment and extension opportunities. Small class sizes, tutors who really
know each child and a highly trained pastoral care team all foster oppor- tunities to fl ourish in a diverse, respectful and creative environ- ment in which students benefi t from outstanding teaching and facilities.
Entry points Trinity welcomes applicants at 10+, 11+ 13+ and 16+. T e sixth form has been co-educational for 10 years, with advocates of mixed schooling saying this model off ers a real-world experience. T e classroom is more diverse and is great preparation for university and life beyond. Many girls join the school for both
science and maths teaching, as well as for humanities and creative arts. Breadth and equality of opportunity crosses genders and develops all the

potential academic scholars and Trinity also off ers scholarships in sport, music, art, drama and tech- nology. Around half the students receive some sort of fi nancial support and, with the help of the John Whitgift Foundation and the Trinity Bursary Fund, the school is also able to off er bursarial provision. Parents choose Trinity as much for its well- grounded and diverse community as for its high academic standards and co-curricular opportunities, and the school’s aim is for one in fi ve students to receive bursarial support.
Outstanding results Trinity is immensely proud of its leavers, who receive an impres- sive number of off ers from top-tier
institutions including Oxbridge, medical schools and Russell Group institutions. T e school also supports those who opt to study overseas, apply for competitive degree appren- ticeships, take a gap year or continue their studies at leading conserva- toires and art colleges. T is year, more than 90% of leavers
secured a place at their fi rst-choice destination including Oxbridge and other leading universities; highly competitive degree apprenticeships; medical, dentistry and veterinary schools; leading conservatoires and art colleges; and universities in the US. At A Level, 39 students achieved straight A*s, with eight achieving fi ve A*s, again placing the school among the most academic in London. But, most of all, Trinity is proud
of who its students become. Regard- less of where they go next, students leave Trinity grounded, articulate and confi dent, with the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the many communities in which they fi nd themselves.
