On a hot day last July, the only pub on Trafalgar Square suff ered a terrible fi re. But
thanks to the incredible
eff orts on the night from the team in the pub and the brave folks at the London Fire Brigade, the pub has reopened its doors less than eight months later. Standing proudly on the south
side of Trafalgar Square, T e Admi- ralty, with general manager Matt Cooper at the helm, off ers three fl oors of
incredible hospitality to
drinkers, diners and revellers, from an early morning breakfast to a late-supper pie and pint. T e menu, from head chef Jon Pellew, includes a host of traditional British pub classics, including delicious pies with fi llings of steak and London Pride; fi ve spiced duck with cran- berry and port; baked caulifl ower and cheshire cheese; and mouth-wa- tering accompaniments such as Marmite-roasted potatoes. To
celebrate the reopening,
London Fire Brigade deputy assis- tant commissioner Greg Ashman and fi refi ghters from Soho Fire Station came to help Fuller’s chief executive Simon Emeny cut the ceremonial ribbon. DAC Ashman was in charge of the incident in July when more than 100 members of the London Fire Brigade worked tire- lessly to put out the fl ames.
