to House of Fraser, there’s no doubting the impressive interior design portfolio to her name. To get the scoop on upcoming winter interiors, we asked the interior designer for some of her top tips.
With winter around the corner, can you share an interior trend anyone thinking of doing a winter revamp of their house should look out for? Dark rich greens are really in this season. You can incorporate this trend into your home with a simple textile update, or on a larger scale by painting your room in a colour from this palette.

In your experience, how do British winter interiors compare to other countries’ aesthetics? I think, when you look at our climate, we do winter very well. and, of course, we have the darker evenings and an overall cosier feel to how we live. In other countries, which is seen as a benefit to some, they don’t enjoy the change of seasons as much, so their interiors tend to be more static.
In your opinion, what’s the one place in your house that making even a small modification to can have the biggest impact? I think that sometimes, changing the smallest room in the house can create the biggest impact. That’s why I think the bathroom is a great place to make a small modification to. Bathrooms are a room that can take colour well, which makes it easier for something like a color change to stand out.
What are some winter statement pieces people can consider adding to their living room to make it pop? I recommend the 1985 Labyrinth Rug Rouge by One Nine Eight Five from Heals, and also the Massimo 3 Seater Sofa by Magnus Long, also from Heals. Other great statement pieces to consider are the NORA
