Hitachi’s Yutaki heat pump range offers the chance to heat your home cheaply and efficiently while reducing your carbon footprint
RASM2-3 VRE
HOW DO THEY WORK Heat pumps work by extracting energy from the outside air (they can do this even at temperatures of -20C) and converting it into useful energy to heat your homes. Modern technology means they can do this with efficien- cies of over 400% — the average gas boiler works at around 90% efficiency.
WIDEST PRODUCT RANGE Hitachi’s expanded Yutaki air source heat pump product range is one of the widest on the market and includes a total of 70 models, which are more compact for small installation spaces and are lighter for easier handling. Te Yutaki
range comprises four types: Yuta- ki-S split; high temperature Yuta- ki-S80; Monobloc Yutaki-M; and the all-in-one Yutaki-SCombi. Hitachi’s innovative Yutaki-SCombi integrated solution has been designed specifi- cally for the UK market. Te indoor unit is pre-plumbed and pre-wired, making installation simpler with less internal space required.
BEST SEASONAL PERFORMANCE FIGURES Seasonal performance determines how low running costs are over a typical year and Hitachi’s new R32 range offer best in class efficiency of A+++.
REMOTE MAINTENANCE AND CONTROL Yutaki’s versatility allows a wide variety of smart controls: a multi-func- tion wired remote control common to all Yutaki models, and a wireless ther- mostat for an easy installation. Te Hi Kumo intuitive application allows end users to control their Yutaki system from their smart- phone. As for smart maintenance support, Hi Kumo PRO is available as part of the Hi Kumo remote control system, which allows service part- ners to access the product’s opera- tional data and error codes online; thereby reducing response time and increasing customer satisfaction.
All Hitachi’s Yutaki air source heat pumps are MCS approved, eligible for the domestic and non-domestic RHI and have domestic hot water (DHW) Legionella Protection and a five-year warranty as standard.

*The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (Domestic RHI) is a Government financial incentive to promote the use of renewable heat. People who join the scheme and register receive quarterly payments for seven years for the amount of clean, green renewable heat it’s estimated their system produces. Homeowners who have their Ecodan installed by an MCS-Accredited heating engineer or plumber are eligible to apply for RHI payments. An average RHI payment of £7,000 is based on an three bedroom home with a heating and hot water demand of 15,000kWh. Payments are calculated on an individual assessment basis and can be higher or lower than that stated.
