Raising standards of excellence
Dr Khan is an expert in multi-system disease and multi-system pathology
Dr Khan is a true holistic general physician who’s gained expertise in the art and science of medi- cine. He believes in the science, which is data driven, and he believes that true data collec- tion,
if used intelligently, can
help patients’ future treatment and their management plan. He therefore relies on data to guide the best treatment for his patients. He also believes in the art of medicine along with true science, and believes medicine is an art that has to be mastered over many years. He’s compe- tent in seeing medically complex patients, which includes diag- nostic dilemmas, along with medically unexplained disorders where diagnosis is diffi cult. He puts all his patients at the centre of his plan and engages and works with them. He has the ability to tailor his medicine according to the patient’s needs as he knows that modern medicine is based on individual circumstances and personal expectations.
Dr Khan fi rmly believes that once the wishes of the patient and their family are understood, he can then work very eff ec- tively and effi ciently to deliver that goal. He’s interested in all aspects of general medicine and he also takes a particular interest in all diseases that are common in the ageing population. He’s a national and international exam- iner for the MRCP clinical exam- inations, helping with patient care and raising standards for excellence. Although he has a busy practice, he responds very swiftly to any ongoing crisis that a patient may have and responds to their changing condition in a
timely fashion. He’s approach- able and shows great empathy. He’s available for consultations in both London and Surrey.
