‘STRONGER TOGETHER’ with Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises
WEDNESDAY (1st May 2024) & Thursday (2nd May 2024) saw Norwegian Cruise Line & Oceania Cruises partner up to host Travel Agents for a two night roadshow! Wednesday night NCL & Oceania landed in Derry/L’Derry for a night of learning, engagement & quizzing. The Bishops Gate Hotel was the fantastic venue of choice for night one of Stronger Together with the second night, Thursday, being hosted in The Ten Square Hotel, Belfast a perfect city centre location for Travel Agents in the area! Agents were welcomed with a drink and a luxury Oceania goodie bag with NCL treats too! Jonathan Adair (Managing Director NI Travel News) introduced the evening and welcomed Aaron Fletcher (NCL). Aaron amazed agents with details of the current & upcoming fleet of NCL Ships. Covering the extensive list of amenities on board any NCL Cruise Line. Sharon Wilson then took to the floor to present on the amazing offering that Oceania Cruises offer to cruisers new and experienced! Sharon also spoke on Allura, Oceania’s eighth beautiful ship that will reveal an enchanted evolution of Oceania. Allura will sail in 2025!
After a delectable three course meal on both evenings, agents then put their training to the test with a NCL & Oceania Quiz that had the competition begin within the room! Agents raced to see who could get the correct answers to 20 questions to win some amazing prizes! Across both nights we had six lucky winners! A massive

of Travel Agents at their store on 21st May 2024 in partnership with Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line & Aer Lingus. Astrid Bell, Karen Sheals Hoy, and the team from American Holidays welcomed guests into the store that was turned into a great presentation venue for the evening! Lisa Hammond kicked things off with a fantastic presentation on Aer Lingus and the services they offer for Orlando routes and also shared with the agents the exciting news of the new winter direct route from Dublin to Las Vegas!

Astrid Bell finished the evening of, launching a fantastic new incentive for all agents booking with Aer Lingus, Walt Disney or Disney Cruises with American Holidays and thanking the agents for coming out to the store. Agents enjoyed drinks before being quizzed on everything American Holidays, Aer Lingus & Disney! 3rd Place- Beverly Weir (Century Travel), 2nd Place- Gillian McVeigh (Limavady Travel) and 1st Place- Claire Mulligan (Clubworld Travel).
