National Geographic Expeditions Launch Collection of High-End Travel Experiences With G Adventures

THEIR collection will offer culturally curious travellers rare access to the world through a National Geographic lens.
The collection includes 32 trips across 28 destinations, ranging from shorter seven- day trips to longer 19-day, more in-depth adventures across Southern Africa and Peru to Japan, Costa Rica, Central Asia, Morocco, Vietnam, Palau and more.
The collection is a good opportunity for travellers to explore one-of-a- kind experiences inspired by National Geographic’s pillars and includes Signature Moments that bring the National geographic to life, special access to locations and sites, access to leading experts who will accompany each trip, travel that makes a difference with community-focused initiatives and elevated immersive stays. Trips will feature a 12 day adventure adventure from Peru to Machu Picchu to the Amazon Jungle, Palau’s Rock Islands & Underwater Serengeti, China’s Great Wall, Xi’an & the Gobi Desert.
MEAL pre-orders will be available from 1st March and will give cus- tomers the chance to order fresh meals before their flight through United Airlines website and mobile app. This will ensure United Airlines customers get the meals they want while improving catering efficiency as well as supporting efforts to re- duce food waste by minimising un- consumed fresh retails items. The Airline will still offer their signature snack boxes, packaged snacks and beverages available to purchase onboard. Aaron McMillan, Managing Director of Hospitality at United said, ““Pre- ordering is a win for everyone – cus- tomers board the plane knowing they’ll get the meal they want*, our catering partners know exactly how much food to prepare for each flight and it helps our operation run even more smoothly and reduce food waste.” He also added that the airline will continue to invest in improvements to their onboard food and beverage programme focusing on “Quality, consistency and customer choice.”

Wizz Air Celebrates Historic Milestone with Route Expansion
WIZZ Air is celebrating reaching a landmark milestone: 1,000 routes across its expanding network. The airline now connects 200 destinations in more than 50 countries across Europe and beyond.

A NEW fleet of Northwest-inspired Amtrak Cascades trains will begin trans- porting passengers between Vancouver (Canada), Seattle (Washington) and Port- land (Oregon) in 2026. The route is rolling out eight new train-
sets and two new locomotives in the Pa- cific Northwest, with a calendar year for the US, with celebrations including Amer- ica250 and FIFA World Cup 26.
The Amtrak Cascades route runs from Eugene, Oregon, to Vancouver, B.C., and includes stops in Portland, Seattle and other Pacific Northwest destinations. Those attending FIFA World Cup 26 can
avail of the service as it travels between official host cities Vancouver (Canada) and Seattle (Washington). Amtrak Cascades serves 18 stations along the I-5 corridor.
