INCAST Marketing Committee Determines New Look of Magazine
I
t has been a period of transition for INCAST magazine as a recently
approved cover, masthead and template design for the magazine made a debut appearance at the Institute’s 61st Technical Conference & Equipment Expo.
A planning and marketing committee was convened and headed by INCAST co-editor, Erin Almaleh, who described the process. “We reviewed the history of INCAST at it’s inception in 1988 and the progression of the artwork used in the magazine over the years. In 1989, the INCAST lettering was trademarked.
After careful consideration and a review of
several new designs, the committee determined that preserving the original INCAST lettering was in the best interest of the magazine, but updating the look would provide a new and innovative face for the magazine.” The Institute would like to
thank Jenny Gladczak of Guardian Software Systems, Tim Kinney of Kinney Strategy, Dean Kirschner of Wisconsin Precision Castings, Cara Lynch of Inductotherm, INCAST Co-Editor, Leland Martin, and Nip Singh of S&A Consulting Group for their time and participation in the INCAST marketing committee.
