Lessons From the Mouse, Panel Discussion of Buyers Among Highlights at the Upcoming Annual Spring Management Meeting


T


his year’s Spring Management Meeting will be held at the Lake Buena Vista Hilton in Orlando,


Florida, home to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and many other world- renowned attractions. What better way to kick off this event than to hear from a local expert on customer service and satisfaction… No, not Mickey himself, but close. This year’s keynote speech will be


delivered by former Disney Institute Executive Dennis Snow. Heralded as a leader in his field, Snow will share experiences and lessons learned from his long-time relationship with the Disney Company in his talk, “Delivering World-Class Customer Service: Lessons From The Mouse.” Institute Executive Director


Joseph Fritz noted that the 2015 program features an array of pertinent management topics, structured with the intent of exposing our industry’s leaders to valuable materials that will help grow and refine their business models. Returning this year are Rick Alaniz,

who will discuss labor issues and Dr. Ken Mayland of ClearView Economics, who will cover economic trends in the U.S. for 2015. Based on overwhelming positive


response, the Institute has invited back nationally acclaimed New York Times columnist, Gene Marks and Evangelist Marketing founder, Alex Goldfayn. This year, Gene turns his attentions towards to enhancing cash flow, while Alex discusses revenue growth. Augmenting this all-star cast, is a


special guest from Austria, Wolfgang Lipp of Steel and Metals Market Intelligence GmbH, who will speak about “Market Drivers and Obstacles for High Performance Metals (Stainless Steels and Superalloys)” which is sure to be of interest to Institute members. The three day event will wrap up


with a panel discussion, comprised of key customers from several of the industry’s diverse market sectors, and presentations from both the EPA and OSHA, addressing industry issues and concerns. The Institute has also


promised to roll out an exciting new benefit that will not only help Member companies reduce cost, but will also enhance administrative productivity. After the day programs have


concluded, the meeting features a golf outing, airboat tours and a mystery dinner show event to round out the activities.

Fritz concluded, “I am very excited about this year’s meeting, and I encourage members who have never attended a Spring Management Meeting to consider doing so. Bring your family and take advantage of the wonderful location and the diverse program offering, all the while having the opportunity to network with your peers, suppliers and customers.” The annual Spring Management


Meeting is being held from March 15- 18. Program and registration material are included on pages 6-7 in this issue of INCAST.
