The FX-801 ultra heavy-duty soldering station is the ideal soldering station for extremely large mass com- ponents such as high current inductor coils, heat sinks, large transformers, shields and other difficult to solder applications where there is a significant amount of thermal inertia that must be overcome.
The station uses T33 Series tips which feature 260W composite ceramic heating elements. These heating elements have a top controlled temperature of 500°C / 940°F and high mass shapes, enabling you to solder some of the most challenging solder joints at only 400°C / 750°F and without preheating!
