THE AV8 GROUP ANNOUNCES EXPANDED FACILITY, INCREASED CAPABILITIES AND UNIQUE

FOCUS ON OVERHAUL VALUE The Av8 Group announces it has

substantially expanded its primary overhaul shop and office headquarters in Houston, TX to accommodate its growing capabilities as part of an increased effort to deliver more value to its overhaul customers. The company added an additional 9,000 sq. ft. to their overhaul shop and office space, bringing its total footprint to 30,000 sq. ft. The expansion comes just as the company has added major capabilities to its growing focus on component overhaul. The addition of a Servo Test Stand, that can measure data in milliseconds, will allow the company to begin to overhaul servos and valves contained in many assemblies such as anti-skid control valves and more. The Av8 Group also recently acquired

a dedicated Actuator Test Stand. The equipment increases the company’s

already well-established overhaul capability for mechanical and hydraulic components such as flap/stabilizer screw jacks and leading edge actuators. These additional testing capabilities will allow the company to overhaul a larger variety of assemblies and systems. The Av8 Group is in a unique position by holding an FAA PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) and an extensive on-staff engineering department, including a dedicated DER. The company can bring untapped value to its customers by using PMA parts as part of their overhaul and repair processes. The company reports that it can save customers 30% - 50% off of overhaul costs when PMA parts developed by Av8 Group are used in the process. “The expansion and additional testing capabilities are in line with our renewed focus on value in overhauls. This extends far beyond the initial landing gear overhauls we have become known for,” says Yoel Arnoni, CEO, The Av8 Group. “We can now bring the same substantial value to other systems and component overhauls that we have been delivering to our landing gear customers.” Located in Houston, Texas, Av8

Group, an FAA and EASA Authorized Repair Station and FAA PMA authority, combines three distinct subsidiary units: Av8 MRO, Av8 PMA and Av8 AOG. Each unit provides an unprecedented level of experience and capability, from PMA parts and engineering, accessory and component MRO to AOG parts sales, distribution and managed repair services.
