Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA). King Aerospace puts its mission

and core principals front and center. It hires to them. The mission to make a positive difference in the lives of others is supported by eight cornerstone principles that range from mutual respect and trust to a no-excuses, team approach. Team members earn the gold wings they wear on their uniforms. Colleagues, not management, determine who has earned the right to wear them. And, once earned, they can be lost if these principles are not consistently followed.

“Our company values are actually

a strong recruitment tool,” says Vaca. “People who want to deliver the best are drawn to King Aerospace.” And, what about that title of “people department leader?” “We do things differently at King

Aerospace,” says Vaca. “We put our people front and center.”
