Conference highlights
The Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers Conference has been extended to a two-day event at a new venue in Manchester. Katie McGonagle previews the show
Experience the Moment is the theme of this year’s Atas Conference, highlighting one of the key selling points of touring and adventure holidays: their focus on experiential travel. This is the first time the conference, now in its third year, has been given an overarching theme, and comes as part of an extended two-day schedule and a move to a new venue in Manchester.
Conference moderator and Travel Weekly editor-in-chief Lucy Huxley said: “We’ve got a packed schedule of speakers and some fantastic, engaging business sessions lined up that I know will prove invaluable for agents looking to grow their sales of this sector.
“Extending the event to include a welcome reception means more time for agents and operators to network, more time to discuss their product at the interactive trade fair, and more time to celebrate the success of the sector at our gala
awards dinner in the evening.” i Keep up to date with news from the Atas Conference by following @travelweekly and @ATAS_travel on Twitter
