SYMPHONY OF THE SEAS ENTERTAINMENT

Hairspray

Let them entertain you I

f there was one thing our group agreed on, it was that the quality of the

entertainment onboard Symphony of the Seas was one of the best things about the ship. The cast puts on nightly

performances of hit Broadway musical Hairspray and Royal Caribbean original production Flight: Dare to Dream. Held in the 1,401-seater Royal Theatre, the latter takes the audience on a journey back through the history of aviation, starting in the future with the first leisure voyage to Mars and finishing with the Wright brothers first taking to the skies. Guests will be left in awe at the show finale, as they see the plane fly for themselves!

But the entertainment doesn’t start and end on stage. Skaters take to the ice for original production 1977, held in Studio B. Particularly memorable is the

HiRO show, during which acrobats and professional divers perform stunts at the Aquatheatre, while

harnessing cutting-edge technology. This show is not to be missed.

Each year, Royal Caribbean recruits 1,400-1,500 cast members, including acrobats, dancers, singers and ice skaters

Each year, Royal Caribbean

recruits between 1,400 and 1,500 cast members to work across the
