dedicated Thailand brochure follows significant sales growth to the destination in the past 12 months, with sales up 10% year on year, and similar, strong forward bookings. The operator has introduced
26 properties in Thailand and three tours to its existing product range to create the new, expanded programme. This extends the focus from popular tourist spots such as Bangkok and Koh Samui to include a new section on island hideaways’. These include Koh Racha, Koh Yao oi and Koh ao ai. Additional flights with atar
Airways via Doha have been introduced to improve access to regional destinations such as Chiang Mai, Krabi, Pattaya and huket.

THAILAND: Gold Medal features 26 new properties in the country
Gold Medal has increased its product range across the board for next year. Highlights include: USA: Gold Medal has added a dedicated Pacific Northwest section for 2019-20, with new hotels in Portland and Seattle and two touring options. LAS VEGAS: The operator has added five properties, two tours and five experiences in Las Vegas. FLORIDA: A key highlight is Walt Disney World Resort’s new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge area, set to open in autumn 2019. Gold Medal said its Florida bookings are 33% up and on-site Disney hotels are starting to sell out in anticipation of the new attraction.
AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND & SOUTH PACIFIC: 48 properties and 19 tours have been added. INDIAN OCEAN & INDIA: 29 properties have been added. DUBAI & ARABIA: This range featuress 20 new properties and two multi-centre breaks. AFRICA: 41 hotels have been added in Africa. This brochure also includes new fly-in safaris in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park following the success of a similar programme in Kenya.
