Hurtigruten adds regional flights for next winter
Hurtigruten has added six departure dates from regional airports for its Classic Round Voyage for winter 2018-19 – three from Gatwick and one each from Manchester, Bristol and Bournemouth. Prices lead in at £986 for the 12-day itinerary.

New Paul Gauguin cruises set sail for Tahiti this year
Paul Gauguin Cruises will debut two itineraries that call at Tahiti this year. The seven-night Society Islands & Tahiti cruise has four departures between June and October, with prices from £5,185, while a 10-night Society Islands & Tuamotus voyage departs on September 19.

Oceania Cruises to install high-speed internet system
Oceania Cruises is to install a new high-speed internet system across its fleet by the end of April. The free and unlimited Wavenet service will be included for all cabins on all sailings. A streaming upgrade, Wavenet Prime, is available for $9.99 per day for passengers who wish to stream movies, music or videos.

Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ recently acquired ship is to be named Vasco da Gama following a vote by trade partners and passengers.
The 1,260-passenger ship,
currently sailing for P&O Cruises Australia, will operate for CMV’s German brand TransOcean Kreuzfahrten from next year. Vasco da Gama will sail from
Bremerhaven and Kiel between May and October and from Fremantle and Adelaide during

Gama’s maiden voyage are due to be released in May. The ship was built in 1994.
Prior to joining P&O Cruises Australia, the vessel sailed for Holland America Line as Statendam.
