HAL unveils South America, Antarctica and Asia schedule

Holland America Line has put its 2027-28 voyages in Asia, South America and Antarctica on sale. Between November 2027


and March 2028, Zuiderdam and Oosterdam will offer 14 to 31-day


sailings in South America and Antarctica, with departures from Buenos Aires in Argentina, San Antonio (for Santiago) in Chile, and Fort Lauderdale and Miami. The season will feature nine


sailings with periods of “scenic cruising”, or no ports of call, including a four-day Antarctic Experience that offers passengers the opportunity to see the Pío XI Glacier, Glacier Alley, Beagle Channel and Chilean Fjords. On selected South America


sailings, excursions to Machu Picchu and the Galápagos Islands will be available. The programme’s highlights include a 15-day South America Pathways: Chilean Fjords &


Oosterdam by the Pío XI Glacier in Chile


Glaciers itinerary on Oosterdam, which leads in at £2,828. Between September 2027 and


April 2028, Noordam will offer 15 itineraries in Asia ranging from 13 to 15 days. The cruises – most of which will


sail from Tokyo – will take in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, China, the Philippines and Vietnam. New ports of call include the Japanese ports of Hitachinaka,


Nagoya and Maizuru. A scenic cruising experience in Maizuru Bay has also been introduced. There are overnight stays in


Halong Bay, Vietnam; Seoul, South Korea; Bangkok, Thailand; Manila, the Philippines; Osaka, Japan; and Shanghai, China. Select itineraries include


late-night calls at Hiroshima, Osaka
