Lindblad boosts Alaska programme with 13 voyages added this summer


Lindblad Expeditions is to bring two ships back into service to operate 13 voyages added to its 2021 Alaska programme this summer. Emerald unveils arts, culture and wine themed itineraries


Emerald Cruises has adapted three of its itineraries to create sailings that focus on the arts, culture and wine-making history of European rivers. The special-interest holidays


have been added to the second edition of the line’s 2022 European river cruises brochure. An eight-day Wines of the


Moselle itinerary features tours of wine estates on a cruise from Mainz to Bernkastel. It costs from £2,195, departing August 21, 2022. There are also two eight-day


arts and culture cruises – one on the Danube and one on the Rhine. The Danube Spa, Arts &

AmaWaterways sets Europe restart dates


AmaWaterways is to resume European sailings in Portugal on July 3. Prices for Douro voyages on AmaDouro lead in at £2,843. The line will restart Danube sailings on July 21, Rhone and Seine operations on July 22 and sailings combining Portugal and Spain, on AmaVida, on July 27. Celestyal Cruises schedules first sailings on Experience

Celestyal Cruises features the first sailings on new ship Celestyal Experience in its 2022-23 programme. The 1,800-passenger ship will depart on its maiden


voyage on March 5, 2022, sailing from Athens to the Greek island of Rhodes and onwards to Kusadasi, Turkey; Ashdod, Israel; and Limassol, Cyprus. Prices for the seven-night sailing start from £759. After its inaugural sailing, Celestyal Experience


will operate a seven-night Eclectic Aegean itinerary, departing on April 9, 2022, and an Idyllic Aegean itinerary, on April 30, 2022. The Idyllic Aegean itinerary, departing from Athens,


calls at Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, Milos and Mykonos. Prices start from £759. In October, Celestyal Experience will sail a one-off


Steps of Paul itinerary across the Mediterranean. The guided cruise itinerary includes religious and historical sites linked to St Paul’s life. The vessel will end 2022 with two festive sailings.


A 10-night Christmas special voyage, departing from


Piraeus on December 17, includes an extended call in Haifa, Israel, to spend Christmas in the Holy Land. It starts at £1,089. An eight-night New Year sailing, departing on


December 27, includes an overnight in Istanbul for New Year’s Eve fireworks. It is priced from £979. In 2023, the ship will operate seven and 14-night


voyages year-round starting from January 7. Celestyal Experience, which was acquired from Costa


Cruises, will operate six Eclectic Aegean sailings from March 4, 2023, while a further 10 voyages of the same itinerary will be available on Celestyal Olympia from October 28, 2023. Prices start from £779. Celestyal Olympia will sail a mix of three and
