Cabinet of Curiosities costs from £449. It includes show tickets, accommodation and travel to the French capital, based on a departure on December 8. In addition, capacity has more than doubled for
the four-day French & Belgian Christmas Markets trip following “unprecedented” demand in 2022. Having been on sale for only a few weeks, the
break is already more than a third sold and expected to continue to sell well, the operator said. Departing on December 8, it costs from £279.
Extra capacity has also been added to the Paris &
Seine River Cruise departure on August 11 following the sell-out success of tour dates earlier in the year. It is priced from £369 for a four-day coach trip
including travel, accommodation, a Seine river cruise and visit to Amiens. Other dates in October and December are also available. Trade sales manager Claire Dutton said the
operator’s competitive prices were helping to stimulate demand for value-for-money European short breaks. She added: “We are seeing such great interest in
our French trips, especially those that visit Paris and other historic French cities, so we’ve added capacity to ensure agents can keep selling. “Our new Cirque du Soleil in Paris trip is really
exciting, especially given customers will also experience the city when it’s so magical in the run-up to Christmas.”

Jules Verne marks 45 years with ‘story-led’ brochure 2020
Small-group escorted tours specialist Jules Verne is marking its 45th anniversary this year with a brand revamp to help agents boost bookings. The first stage of the refresh
is a ‘story-led’ mini brochure featuring tours grouped by theme instead of destination. A new advertising campaign

with the storytelling concept will follow in what is being described as a new chapter for the brand. Head of marketing Prini
Patel said: “Customers may want to experience one of our in-depth Grand Tours, dip into the highlights of a region or go off the beaten track and uncover our Secret Gems tours. This new
format enables them to choose the adventure, then the destination.” Business development and
communications manager Abbey Renshaw said the brochure was “full of inspiration” and aimed to open up opportunities to sell tours that clients would not previously have considered.
