Trade-only operator Jetset has added cross-Channel rail link Eurostar to its trade booking platform Jets (Jetset Electronic Travel System). The aim is to provide agents
with a “simple-to-use process” for selling Eurostar train-only or Eurostar-based packages. The operator said: “Jetset has
pulled out all the stops and now allows users to book Eurostar as either a train-only or as part of a fully Atol-protected and PTR-compliant Jetset package.” Destinations include Paris,
Lille, Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Ostend.

Classic Collection has added 15 properties to its Italy brochure, bringing the total to more than 180. The new accommodation spans Puglia, Sardinia,
Sicily, Sorrento, Rome and Florence. Alex Gavalda, director of internal sales, product
and commercial, said: “As the American market has come back strongly this summer, making availability in Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast a challenge, we’ve expanded our offering there to include some of the UK market’s most popular hotels.” The brochure features 58 boutique hotels and 12
tour itineraries, with a six-day gastronomic trip around Tuscany among the latter as twin and multi-centre holidays are described as “more popular than ever”. Flight-free options with train travel are available via London and Paris to Milan, Florence and Venice.
Scotland regains direct link to China with twice-weekly Beijing flights
Scotland is regaining flights to China this summer with the return of a service from Edinburgh to Beijing after almost four years. Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines will operate a twice-weekly schedule on Mondays and Fridays between June 26 and October 8. The last direct service was cancelled in late 2019.
