NetTours resumes operations to Rhodes, Azores and Madeira

Basingstoke-based operator NetTours is wooing travel agents, having restarted selling holidays after suspending operations during the pandemic. Founder and managing director Andy Fixler said the
family-run business turned its premises in Basingstoke into a tearoom after mothballing the tour operation when Covid-19 restrictions stopped people taking holidays. The Aito member has now launched tours to the
Azores, Rhodes and Madeira, with plans to reinstate its full range which included central Europe, Israel, Malta and Spain. The holidays operate as small-group tours but are not escorted, and offer accommodation in Silver and Gold categories. Fixler has contacted about 1,500 agents as his
business has resumed, as he hopes most of his sales will

Mercury Holidays has added two hotels to its range in Cyprus. A 21-night winter stay at Limassol’s Elias Beach Hotel costs from £499, based on two sharing a room, including flights. ANA to restart London-Tokyo route with three flights a week
All Nippon Airways is to resume flights to Tokyo Haneda airport from Heathrow on June 2. The service will operate three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with return fares from £915. The airline suspended the route in March because of Covid restrictions and the war in Ukraine.
