1. Agents develop their knowledge of the river cruise sector during Clia’s RiverView Conference in Amsterdam. A record 540 delegates had the opportunity to visit 11 river cruise ships during the conference, which was the 12th to be held. 2. High-performing Travel Counsellors agents celebrate their success with an eight-day fam trip to South Africa. The group began in Johannesburg and visited Soweto, before heading to Kruger National Park. 3. Agents and suppliers celebrate Tipto’s 25th year with a roadshow event at the Eden Project in Cornwall. Agents from the southwest took part in an evening of speed dating-style product training with 12 supplier members. There were also networking drinks, a two-course dinner and a competition. 4. Hays Travel’s head office hosts Tui’s trade team during a ‘takeover’ day in Sunderland. Representatives from Tui UK, Marella Cruises and Crystal Ski Holidays led interactive training sessions and organised a prize giveaway.
