Wizz Air adds winter Gatwick-Lyon route


Wizz Air will start a Gatwick-Lyon winter route on January 10. The carrier will fly four times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays – to France’s third-largest city. A travel trade roadshow is being staged by St Kitts and Nevis this month as the Caribbean destinations ramps up post- pandemic promotional activity. The St Kitts Tourism


Authority and Nevis Tourism Authority will host their second UK trade engagement event on November 21-25. Agents and operators will


be invited to hosted dinners in Hertfordshire, Kent and Surrey. A fam trip will host agents on each island later this month. St Kitts Tourism Authority

Liverpool gains Bergen link with resumption of Wideroe service


Scandinavian airline Wideroe is to resume flying from Liverpool John Lennon airport next summer after stopping due to the pandemic. Twice-weekly departures, on Mondays and Fridays, to Bergen, Norway, will begin on March 31 using 110-seat Embraer E190-E2 jet aircraft.
