Unspoilt, untouched, undiscovered: Tobago is a stunning island in the south of the Caribbean Sea. Despite measuring only 25 by six miles, the island is full of adventure. The excursions and tours on offer won’t leave active travellers disappointed. From cycling terrain to hiking paths and much more, the island is an adventure seeker’s playground. If that isn’t enough, Tobago is also a


birdwatcher’s paradise. The island boasts more than 230 species of birds and offers some world-renowned locations from which to spot them. Birdwatchers will be in their element at Adventure Farm & Nature Reserve, home to hummingbirds, jacamars and many others. Corbin Local Wildlife Park is another key attraction, where visitors can see other wildlife, including caimans and tortoises. The island is blanketed in emerald-green

forests. Unesco-listed Main Ridge Forest Reserve, located in the middle of the island, is the oldest protected rainforest in the western hemisphere. Argyle Waterfall, just south of the Main Ridge Forest Reserve, is one of the most-renowned locations on the island. Visitors can also venture to the Highland Waterfall in the west of the island.
