BA ‘fills Cook void’ with Antalya service
British Airways is filling a void left by the collapse of Thomas Cook by launching a service from Gatwick to Antalya, Turkey. BA will fly six times a week next summer, with return fares from £139. The airline said the route complements its summer Gatwick- Dalaman service and year- round Heathrow-Istanbul flights.

Grand American adds four US tours plus eclipse in Argentina

Small-group adventure operator Grand American Adventures has introduced a holiday to view a total solar eclipse in Argentina in its 2020 brochure. Called Solar Eclipse Argentina and Iguazu Falls,
the 11-night escorted tour features the chance to view the eclipse, plus a guided tour of Buenos Aires, visits to Iguazu Falls and Los Glaciares National Park, a walking tour in the mountains and an Argentine ‘asado’ barbecue. Departing December 7, 2020, the tour costs from £4,249, excluding international flights. Richard Hanson, managing director, said:
“Following the success of our 2019 solar eclipse departures to Argentina and Chile, we are delighted to be able to offer our clients the opportunity to view nature’s greatest spectacle again next year.”
Kuoni extends Mediterranean range with 38 new hotels for 2020
