Swan Hellenic puts Antarctica 2027-28 programme on sale

Swan Hellenic has opened bookings for its 2027-28 Antarctica season, with its 2026-27 programme in the region said to be 65% sold. The operator will deploy SH
Minerva, SH Vega and SH Diana in Antarctica for both seasons. In 2027-28, the line will
operate 34 voyages in Antarctica, with 30 round-trip departures of between nine and 18 days from
Ushuaia, in Argentina, and four longer Grand Voyages. Each team will carry a team
of between 13 and 15 expedition guides, expert speakers and lecturers. A nine-night Antarctic Wonders
round-trip cruise onboard Diana, departing March 6, 2028, leads in at £7,125. The season will be book-ended
by longer itineraries. Diana will begin and end the
season with voyages between Cape
Kayaking in the Weddell Sea
Town in South Africa and Ushuaia, calling at Tristan da Cunha and South Georgia. A 20-night South Atlantic
Cruise: From Antarctica to South Africa, departing from Ushuaia for Cape Town on March 15, 2028, leads in at £11,625. Minerva will sail from Ushuaia
to Dunedin, in New Zealand, on a 33-night Antarctic semi- circumnavigation voyage exploring the Ross Sea, the southernmost ocean on the planet.

Adventure From Ushuaia to Dunedin starts at £22,975, departing February 3, 2028. Vega will operate 17-night
cruises between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, via the Falkland Islands, at the start and end of the season, with an itinerary on March 14, 2028, costing from £11,275. Excursion options include snowshoe treks and kayaking
among icebergs.
