marketing assets, selling guides and expert insight. The prize holiday incorporates a four-night stay at
Crystal Cove, Barbados, a Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort, and three nights at the Waves Resort & Spa, an Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort. Transfers are included, and the winner will also
receive £2,000 towards their flights. To enter, agents must register Caribbean and Mexico
bookings made in April. Bookings for room nights at a Marriott International property will receive a bonus entry.
A seven-night package at the new five-star Zemi
Miches Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton costs from £1,999, based on two adults sharing a Tropical View Room and flying from Gatwick on June 20 with British Airways. Sarah Lancashire, marketing and interim product
director at Gold Medal, said: “The new Caribbean and Mexico ‘In Focus’ campaign is all about helping agents to reframe the conversations around these destinations. “The Caribbean and Mexico will always deliver
those postcard-perfect beaches and all-inclusive resorts, but there’s a deeper story that customers are craving right now – a story of nature, flavour and cultural experiences. “We want agents to be able to confidently sell
rainforest hikes, the best places to eat, local events and island-hopping adventures that go beyond the shoreline.”

Mercury adds tour-only pricing for escorted private trips
Mercury Holidays has introduced tour-only pricing across its range of escorted private trips. The independent operator
said the move allows clients to combine a private tour with their own flights, allowing them to use their airline reward points. They can also combine the tour with another itinerary.
travelweekly.co.uk 16 16 APRIL 2026 The operator said the initiative
aims to offer travel agent partners and customers greater flexibility. Programme highlights include
the 17-day Grand Tour of North India, which includes visits to Delhi, Varanasi, Jaipur, Amritsar and the Taj Mahal, as well as a sunrise boat trip along the Ganges. Prices start at £2,133.
The 15-day Wonders of China
private tour, which leads in at £3,164, includes a four-night cruise on the Yangtze River and trips to the Terracotta Warriors and Great Wall of China. A 16-day Grand Tour of Sri
Lanka itinerary starts at £2,521.
