Viking adds two England’s Scenic Shores sailings


Viking has added two UK departures in June to its domestic programme and announced plans to run limited operations in Bermuda and Iceland. The England’s Scenic Shores


itineraries on board Viking Venus have been added after the line’s initial programme sold out. Passengers for all sailings must


have had Covid vaccinations. Prices for the new round-trip


departures from Portsmouth start from £1,690. Ports of call include Liverpool, Tresco in the Isles of Scilly and Falmouth, Cornwall. The eight-day round-trip


Bermuda and Iceland itineraries will begin in June and will be


operated on Viking Orion and Viking Sky respectively. The former will homeport in


Hamilton, the latter in Reykjavik. Viking said it was striving to


develop further Welcome Back sailings in destinations including Greece, Turkey and Malta, and hoped to announced further 2021 sailings as soon as government approvals are given. vikingcruises.co.uk

NCL unveils restart itineraries from Athens, Jamaica and the Dom Rep


Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled plans to resume sailings in Europe and the Caribbean this summer for vaccinated guests. The line will operate seven-day


Greek Isles itineraries from Athens (Piraeus) on Norwegian Jade from July 25, with Norwegian Joy sailing from Jamaica from August 7 and Norwegian Gem operating from the Dominican Republic from August 15. Guests on the new sailings will


have up to 11 hours’ time in ports. All passengers on sailings


with embarkation dates before the start of November will be required to be fully vaccinated and tested prior to boarding. NCL has confirmed the cancellation of all July and
