Blue Diamond offers in-branch training to help sell its portfolio
Blue Diamond Resorts is offering to run dedicated ‘lunch and learn’ training sessions at travel agencies this summer. The sessions will provide
information about product updates, selling tips, offers, discounts and incentives. The aim is to help agents
sell Blue Diamond and its brand portfolio, which includes Royalton Resorts and Planet Hollywood Hotels & Resorts. The 30-minute sessions are
designed to take place in lunch or afternoon breaks in July or August. The company is also offering

Jet2 schedules flights to eight ski destinations in 2025-26

Jet2.com has put its programme of ski flights for winter 2025-26 on sale from 10 UK airports. The programme totals 300,000 seats, with 34 weekly
flights during peak periods. The airline will operate to eight ski destinations –
Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Lyon, Turin and Verona – giving holidaymakers access to the French, Austrian, Swiss and Italian Alps, as well as the Tyrolean mountain region. The ski flights are available from Belfast International,
Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted airports from December 2025. Manchester-Chambery one-way fares start from £58 in January 2025, while Leeds Bradford flights to
Classic Collection to process Black Card incentives on a monthly basis
Classic Collection is now processing agents’ Black Card incentives each month rather than quarterly. Jorge Quibell, head of sales south, said: “Agents will be delighted that we’ve listened to feedback and been able to implement this change. With this adjustment, things just got even better for our trade partners.” Cash rewards for the cards range from £10 to £1,000 per booking.

BA introduces winter flights from Gatwick to Lapland and Larnaca
BA EuroFlyer will begin operating flights to Lapland and Larnaca this winter. From December 3, the British Airways subsidiary will fly from Gatwick to Ivalo, Finland, on Tuesdays and Fridays until February 14, 2025. Return fares start at £345 and include carriage of skiing and snowboarding equipment.
