Holland America Line has opened bookings for its 2026 Alaska cruise season, with six ships deployed in the region. Passengers will have the option of sailing round-trip
from Seattle or Vancouver, or between Vancouver and Whittier (Anchorage), Alaska. The itineraries, which sail from May to September,
will be operated by Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zaandam. They range from seven to 28 days and include a
month-long Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice sailing and a new 14-day round-trip voyage from Seattle. ‘Cruisetours’ that combine a cruise with an overland

A ‘glacier guarantee’ programme pledges a glacier
viewing on every Alaska cruise and most Cruisetours. Excursions include the 26 Glaciers Cruise from
Whittier, Glacier Discovery Helicopter Tour in Skagway and the Mendenhall Glacier Float Trip in Juneau. All cruises feature an onboard wildlife expert and a
wildlife-spotting guide who points out native animals along the route. Dan Rough, HAL’s vice-president of revenue
management, said: “Whether it’s talking to a park ranger while observing a glacier calve in Glacier Bay, joining a whale-watching tour or enjoying the freshest fish that was just brought on board, we want our guests to return home from vacation feeling inspired.” A seven-day Alaska Inside Passage cruise on
Zaandam departing May 13, 2026, costs from £1,124.
