Kuoni adds Jamaica and Dom Rep as it grows in Caribbean
Samantha Mayling
Kuoni has added Jamaica and the Dominican Republic to its programme as it targets growth in the Caribbean. The upmarket operator
described the move as “a major step forward” as it would bring more “great-value” holiday options to a wider range of customer types, including families. Kuoni’s senior regional
product manager, Jim Robertson, said: “We’ve carried out training and sent our people to these destinations, so our teams are up to speed. “We’ll be hosting educationals
for agents as we develop our overall Caribbean programme.” The operator said value for
money “remains a priority”, with demand for all-inclusive holidays trending. More than a third of all Kuoni’s
bookings are for all-inclusive resorts, so the collection aims to provide “excellent choice”. The addition of the Dominican
Republic and Jamaica also opens up options for multi-centre holidays.
