Saga sets dates for international restart


Saga Cruises will resume international sailings on October 5. Family-friendly Disney Cruise Line is seeking to attract “grown-ups” to its latest ship with a range of new facilities. Disney Wish will feature the


fleet’s first outdoor spa, plus a barber shop and new bars and lounges. Exercise and wellness facilities include a cycle studio and an aerobics room. Other newly-announced

Silversea sets course for 60 maiden port calls in 2023-24

Silversea Cruises has unveiled its largest-ever programme with the release of 280 new cruises for 2023-24. Running from March 2023 to May 2024, the


collection spans 690 destinations in 125 countries, and features more than 60 maiden calls. Tere are 38 voyages in northern Europe. Tey include a 14-day Northern Europe & British Isles cruise, departing from Southampton in June 2023, calling at Edinburgh, Norway and Iceland. Also in the programme are 18 voyages in Africa and


the Indian Ocean, including new Arabian Peninsula sailings. A 13-day Africa & Indian Ocean cruise, departing from Muscat, Oman, and ending in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, starts from £9,300. As well as 36 Mediterranean sailings, the programme


features Silversea’s first summer sailings in Canada and New England, operating between August and October 2023, including calls in Quebec, Montreal and Boston.


Emerald Princess to sail Canaries itinerary from Southampton in 2022


Princess Cruises has added a Canary Islands itinerary to Emerald Princess’s 2022 season from the UK. Departing on October 26 next year from Southampton, the ship will call at Vigo, Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Lisbon. Fares start at £999 based on two sharing an inside cabin.
