P&O Cruises is offering more than 1,000 places to agents to attend a two-night showcase on new 5,200-passenger ship Iona. The line is running a booking
incentive through Shine Rewards Club, its agent loyalty scheme, during wave season. Agents who make a Select Price
booking by March 2 will be entered into the draw to win one of hundreds of pairs of tickets to the May event in Southampton. Winners will be able to invite an agent colleague. Select Price fares are available

change bookings and the chance to choose their cabin number. Select Price bookings of cruises
of seven nights or more are also eligible for either onboard credit, car parking in Southampton or return coach travel to Southampton. P&O Cruises will also be
running weekly agent competitions on social media during wave, using the hashtag #ShineOnIona. The line said the incentive is its
“biggest agent event in recent years”. P&O Cruises vice-president of
sales and marketing, Alex Delamere-
White, said: “To reward our trade partners for their ongoing support we will be giving away places to frontline agents and head office staff to have an exclusive two-day experience on Iona during which time they will have the opportunity to see first-hand the largest ship ever built for the UK cruise market. “We know that first-hand
experience is critical to frontline agents, so with every booking counting towards an opportunity to win a place at this event, there has never been a better time for agents to be selling a P&O Cruises holiday. “Despite a number of headwinds,
2019 was another hugely successful year for P&O Cruises.”
