Classic features 12 destinations in first long-haul brochure

Ben Ireland

Classic Collection Holidays has released its first long-haul brochure, expanding the range of destinations in the programme that was announced last month. Dubai, Oman, Laos and

Cambodia feature in the luxury operator’s 164-page Your World Distinctively Classic brochure alongside Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Mauritius, Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.

The programme features 74

hotels and 29 tours. There are nine hotels and four

tours in Vietnam, including the 11-day Highlights of Vietnam, which costs from £2,390. All 11 hotels and two tours in

Indonesia are in Bali. The 12-day Luxury Indonesia starts at £2,930. In Sri Lanka, Classic offers 11

hotels and five tours. A 16-day Wildlife of Sri Lanka itinerary costs from £3,690. The 11 hotels in Mauritius

Tanzania

include the Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, where five nights’ half-board leads in at £1,640. The operator is offering seven

hotels and six tours in both Kenya and Tanzania. Customers have a choice of

two extensions – Victoria Falls and Mauritius – to the six tours in South Africa. The 12-day Highlights of South Africa costs from £3,960. Seven hotels in Dubai include

Anantara the Palm. Classic’s one property in Oman is the Six Senses

Zighy Bay, with prices from £1,490 for three nights’ B&B. Alex Gavalda, the operator’s

director of product and supply, said: “There’s a gap in the market and our ability to source the best prices makes personalised worldwide travel accessible to a wider audience, and counters the image that bespoke travel is prohibitively expensive.” Classic Collection was bought

by online agency On the Beach for £20 million in August 2018. classic-collection.co.uk/agent-login
