THIS WEEK’S BEST PICTURES FROM THE FRONTLINE OF TRAVEL

1. Explore recently took 11 agents on a fam trip that visited sites on the best-selling Highlights of Jordan escorted tour, including Wadi Rum, Red Sea and Petra (pictured). Hosted by Explore’s Nick Hindle (fourth left), the trip was supported by Royal Jordanian Airlines. 2. Mandy Philips from Miles Morgan Travel, Abergavenny, has won a three-night cruise from Amalfi to Rome, sailing on Star Clipper, thanks to winning a competition held by Star Clippers with Travel Weekly. 3. It’s in the bag for Maria Marshall, from the Louth branch of Lincolnshire Co-op Travel, who won a Mulberry handbag in Travelopia’s recent competition in Travel Weekly, which saw £2,000-worth of gifts given out to 50 agents in a prize draw, for booking Sovereign and Citalia holidays in January and February. 4. Delegates at the 2022 Hays Travel Independence Group conference enjoyed an 80s theme night and barbecue. The conference was attended by 120 agents and operators at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife. Pictured from left are: Natasha Marson, Hays Independence Group; Laura Croft and Nigel Rankin, both Norwegian Cruise Line; and Catriona Parsons, Hays Travel.
