Cox & Kings expands in Middle East

New escorted group, solo and private tours feature in Cox& Kings’ 2019 brochure for the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and the Gulf.
The luxury operator said the
expanded programme had been prompted by a 70% increase in passenger numbers this year. A “more luxurious” version of its Splendours of Jordan itinerary has been added, which includes stays at a selection of the most high-end accommodation in the country. The eight-night Jordan in Style private tour starts from £2,895.
The Wonders of Jordan & Jerusalem is a new 10-night group tour, combining Jerusalem and Bethlehem with visits to cultural and scenic highlights of Jordan. The itinerary costs from £2,495. A new eight-night Treasures of Israel tour has a smaller group
size compared with previous tours and more boutique-style accommodation. The tour visits the historic sites of Jerusalem, Nazareth, Acre and Tel Aviv, as well as coastal towns, from £2,695. Guests can also stay in a
traditional kibbutz for two nights.

New solo traveller tour Oman
Discovery includes a dolphin- watching cruise from Muscat and an Omani cookery class. The eight- night tour leads in at £2,445. New private tour Oman is Style includes stays at accommodation in the mountains, the desert and by the sea in Muscat. The 10-night tour, priced from £4,195, includes a drive in desert dunes by 4x4, a walk in the Al Hajar mountains, a night under the stars in the desert and a catamaran cruise. Also new for 2019 are Mystical
Morocco, a new seven-night solo traveller tour, and Moroccan Discovery, a 14-night private tour
of the country’s highlights.
