Ramblers Walking Holidays expands range to 110 trips

Ramblers Walking Holidays has bolstered its worldwide programme with the addition of 13 holidays.


The operator’s autumn-spring 2019-20 brochure features more than 110 itineraries globally, with options for walkers of different abilities. The new trips, in 12 countries,


vary from spring walks through rare pinsapo fir forests and hills in Andalucia’s Sierra de las Nieves to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the Bavarian Alps. Others include hiking in the


Himalayas on The Annapurnas & Chitwan holiday and a wilderness walk on the Alaska-Wilderness, Walking & Wildlife trip; safari experiences on the Walking in Zimbabwe and Botswana trip; wildlife watching on the Kruger & Swaziland Safari; and a stay in a desert camp in Oman.


Rocky Mountaineer to introduce seven more high-spec carriages


Canadian train operator Rocky Mountaineer is to add seven oldeaf Service carriages on its Western Canadian rail itineraries. The new carriages will each


feature 72 reclining and heated seats and redesigned kitchens. They will be available to book on two of Rocky Mountaineer’s
