How were you first approached by Oliver Stone to appear in SEIZURE?
Before I started the film, before I even got the
script, I got a letter. I don’t know how Oliver found me, because I had been running all over the place and nobody could find me anywhere. Finally he tracked me down, I think through my agent, and I got a letter saying, “Would you like to do a thing called QUEEN OF EVIL?” I didn’t know anything about the script. I was away for the weekend, just outside of Rome, having a rest—I just needed a little rest. And I was on my own. My agent in Rome brought the letter down to
me and I looked at it, and I said, “Oh, sounds interesting. Wonder how he found me?” And then she says, “Well, I’m going to be
getting the script. It’s following, so I’ll bring it down to you.”
48 That same night I had a nightmare. I woke up
at night; it had been one of those very strange evenings—a wonderful day—and after about six o’clock it started to change all of a sudden. I was right at the beach and the waves were coming in and there was this kind of Sshwwwwsshhhhh! The apartment was empty. The doors were bang­ ing and the windows were clashing with the shutters going and it was kind of eerie. I woke up, and I was alone in this apartment. I thought I was awake—you know those kinds of dreams where you think you’re awake, but you’re really asleep; or you know you’re asleep, but you think you’re awake? And, all of a sudden, this huge giant comes into the room, opens a table drawer, takes out a knife and threatens me with it. I’m so terrified that I just go “No!” I wake up, leap out of bed and turn on the light, and of course,
