THE first quarter of 2019 has flown in as usual, and a busy first few months has seen us deliver some fantastic projects and get great feedback from our customers. Five Mitchells & Butlers pubs, including

the iconic Granary in Glasgow, and Hudson St. Grill at Edinburgh Airport for The Restaurant Group have been handed over to delighted clients. We also received a personal letter of


thanks from Mark Johnston, Managing Director of Glasgow Airport, for our team’s hard work and commitment that ensured the deadline was met for the new pier for the Emirates A380 double-decker jet making its historic first scheduled arrival in Scotland. We have also completed our first draft

In May, we will once again take a group to

ownership. We have also just held our first Trustee Board meeting at which the Board of Directors of the trading company shared their plans both budgetary and strategic with the Trustees. The Cultures and Values team have been


working hard to make sure that things we hold important to our ethos are kept at the forefront of our minds, so watch this space for some new ideas, including the sharing of some staff profiles in this very newsletter! With all the positive news we have, it’s


important that we share it among the wider business community. We have been getting a lot of exposure using social media and have been promoting our presence on LinkedIn with a dedicated page – if you use the platform, please follow, like and share wherever possible. Late spring and early summer are likely to


be quieter than we are traditionally used to, due to many of our clients taking a view on how they spend their hard-fought income. However, we expect to see this recovering


as we progress through the months and tender activity at present would tend to support this.
