Die Teilnehmer betonten, dass im Rahmen der Vereinten Nationen wichtige Arbeit geleistet wurde, um Regeln zu defi nieren, da der Cyberspace keine Grenzen habe. Das Treff en fand während der 77. Hochrangigen Woche der Generalversammlung der Vereinten Nationen statt. |

NEWS GERMANY’S NATIONAL SECURITY STRATEGY
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that cyberspace will be a key factor in Germany’s National Security Strategy while she was in Potsdam on 27 September. The federal government is working on the strategy. Baerbock told her audience that Germany’s tech industry association, Bitkom, estimates that cyberattacks have cost the economy over 400 billion euro during the last two years. She also highlighted cyber meddling in democratic processes. |
