Potential conflicts of interest for all Guidelines Advisory Board members were reviewed before the annual meeting and each monthly conference call. Ten members of the Guideline Development Group reported no potential con- flict of interest.1-8,11-12
Two members9,10 disclosed potential
conflicts of interest. After review and discussion of these disclosures, the advisory board concluded that individuals with potential conflicts could remain on the advisory board if they reminded the advisory board of potential conflicts before any related discussion and recused them- selves from a related discussion if requested.
